Replacement Hinge

Premium single exterior door hinge (most doors require 3 hinges). Great for hanging new doors or refreshing the hardware on existing doors. Select from available finishes.

Note: Oil-Rubbed Bronze is designed to be a “living” finish. Light scratches or scuffs may reveal hints of the bronze beneath, which is normal and not a defect. Over time, these areas blend into the natural patina and add character to the hinge.

If you have an outswing door, we recommend either a riveted hinge (non-removable pin) or a "safety stud" hinge to prevent unwanted entry via hinge pin removal.

Additional specifications:

• Hinges measure 4" by 4" with 5/8" radial outside corners
  • This is the most popular size and shape for residential exterior doors
  • Hole pattern matches Masonite brand doors. Can also be adapted to fit many other door brands by patching screw holes. Just make sure that your existing hinge matches the overall size and shape
• Select hinge type:
  • Plain Bearing (standard, cost effective hinges recommended for low to medium use inswing doors)
  • Ball Bearing (premium hinge recommended for high use or heavy inswing doors)
  • Riveted Ball Bearing (premium hinge with non-removable pin recommended for outswing doors)
  • Safety Stud (standard option for use with outswing doors)
• .085" (2.2mm) gauge (thickness)
• Plain bearing, butt style hinge with removable pin
• Stainless steel plated for strength and to resist corrosion
• Includes matching screws for use with wood jambs and wood or steel edge door
• For use with standard exterior doors -- typically 1.625 (1 5/8") or 1.75" (1 3/4") thick

Straightforward installation does not require removing door from frame.
