Built from extruded and cellular PVC with stainless steel hinges and a hardened steel lock throw, the Guard Dog is the first pet door engineered to meet residential building codes when integrated into a pre-hung door system. Hurricane product approval, AAMA forced entry testing to 270 lbs, and ASTM E330/E331 compliance mean it holds up to the same pressures your front door does.
